For those who thrive on politics and history, this book provides a clear insight into some of the most important events in the Middle East over the past 40yrs and the behind the scenes deals that shaped them. The writing is long-winded and, often, concentrates on little personal nuances. However, it is interesting to see how personal conflicts and a politician's personality out of the spotlight can affect innocent lives.
Mr.Halevy witnessed and participated in some of the most historic decisions and conflicts in the region as director of the the Mossad. It is a good read for those who are devout political junkies, as well as, a valuable historical document.
