  • This should not be a surprise. given their mindset. Most of them can, probably, trace their heritage to slave owners and advocates for torturing and killing Blacks who disobeyed them.

  • It is not fear but part of his conditioning strategy. It worked very well in 2008 when Sarah Palin and he far right repeated the misnomers about Obama's place of birth and his being a devout Muslim. That stigma, among others, remain in the forefront with many Tea Party, Christian Right Republicans.

  • It is painfully evident that I don't understand the concept of family values. If the Christian Conservatives begin to flock to Gingrich despite his past, they have no business telling homosexuals, polygamists or women seeking abortions how they should live.
